1. Acceptance

By using quiztime.co.za, joining a Quiz Time room or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Quiz Time service

Quiz Time provides interactive quiz participation, team registration, answer submission, scoring, event information, sample quizzes and booking enquiries. Features may change as the platform develops.

3. Fair play and acceptable use

  • Use accurate team and contact information.
  • Do not interfere with the platform, other teams, scoring or venue equipment.
  • Do not attempt to access host controls or another team’s data.
  • Do not submit unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or harmful names or answers.
  • Follow venue rules and reasonable instructions from the host.
  • Quiz Time does not automatically censor or pre-screen team names. Participants are responsible for the content they submit, while hosts and venues may rename, hide from the shared display, or remove a team at any time according to venue rules or event requirements.

4. Scoring and host decisions

For a live entertainment event, the host’s scoring decision is final unless the host chooses to reconsider it.

5. Availability and devices

The service depends on internet access, participant devices, browsers and venue systems. We aim to provide a reliable experience but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Quiz Time and Noel Johnson Entertainment are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from device failure, connectivity, venue systems or events beyond reasonable control.

7. Media rights

Hosts are responsible for having the rights to any image, audio or video they upload or link into a quiz, and for how that media is used during an event. Uploading media to Quiz Time does not grant Quiz Time or Noel Johnson Entertainment any ownership or copyright in it. Media played from a third-party source, such as YouTube, is also subject to that provider’s own terms of service.
